The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and mentioned four matters. Allah does not sleep, nor does it befit Him to sleep. He raises the scales and lowers them. The deeds of the day are raised up to Him at night, and the deeds of the night are raised up to Him during the day.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith (179:295), through several chains, from Muhammad bin Jafar, who said, Shuba narrated to me, from Amr bin Mura, from Abu Ubayda, from Abu Musa, who said, and then he related it.
