The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you not see that your people, when they rebuilt the Kaabah, fell short of the foundations of Ibrahim?"I said, "Messenger of Allah, will you not restore it to the foundations of Ibrahim?"He replied, "Were it not that your people are still close to disbelief..."Abdullah bin Umar then commented, "If Ayesha truly heard this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then I do not think the Messenger of Allah ﷺ refrained from touching the two corners adjacent to the Hijr except because the House was not completed upon the foundations of Ibrahim."
Malik narrated it in Hajj (109) from Ibn Shihab, from Salim bin Abdullah, that Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr Siddiq informed Abdullah bin Umar, from Ayesha, who said, and then he mentioned it. Bukhari narrated it in Tafsir (4484) and Muslim in Hajj (1333, 399), both from the hadith of Malik with the same wording. In the noble verse there is an indication that the foundations existed before Ibrahim , but no report has been established as to who first built the noble Kaaba, for all the reports that have come down on this matter are daif. What is strange in this matter is that some say it is among the Israelite traditions, without knowing that the Israelites themselves do not acknowledge that Ibrahim
migrated with his wife Hajar to Makkah. I have established, in my book al-Yahudiyyah wal-Masihiyyah, using the texts of the Torah, that Ibrahim
migrated to Makkah, and that the story of the sacrifice of his son Ismail took place in Mina. Refer to it.
