I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "None loves the Ansar except a believer, and none hates them except a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah will love him, and whoever hates them, Allah will hate him."
سمعت النبي ﷺ قال: الأنصار لا يحبهم إلا مؤمن ولا يبغضهم إلا منافق، فمن أحبهم أحبه الله، ومن أبغضهم أبغضه الله.
Bukhari related it in the Virtues of the Ansar (3783), and Muslim in the Book of Faith (75), both from the hadith of Shubah, from Adi bin Thabit, from Bara, as mentioned. Shubah said, "I asked Adi, 'Did you hear it from Bara?'" He said, "He related it to me directly." This is as found in Muslim.
