Abdullah bin Jabir reported,

Abdullah bin Jabir said, I came upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ just as he had relieved himself.I said, "Peace be upon you, Messenger of Allah," but he did not answer me.I said again, "Peace be upon you, Messenger of Allah," and still he did not answer me.I said a third time, "Peace be upon you, Messenger of Allah," and he did not answer me.Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walked on with me behind him until he entered his lodging, while I went into the masjid and sat there downcast and sorrowful. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to me, having purified himself, and said, "Upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah, and upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah, and upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah."Then he said, "Shall I tell you, Abdullah bin Jabir, about the best surah in the Quran?"I said, "Yes indeed, Messenger of Allah."He said, "Recite 'All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds' [Fatihah 1:2] through to its end."

عن عبد الله بن جابر قال

انتهيت إلى رسول الله ﷺ وقد أهراق الماء، فقلت: السلام عليك يا رسول الله، فلم يرد علي، فقلت: السلام عليك يا رسول الله، فلم يرد علي، فقلت: السلام عليك يا رسول الله، فلم يرد علي، فانطلق رسول الله ﷺ يمشي وأنا خلفه، حتى دخل على رحله ودخلت أنا المسجد، فجلست كئيبا حزينا، فخرج علي رسول الله ﷺ وقد تطهر فقال عليك السلام ورحمة الله، وعليك السلام ورحمة الله، وعليك السلام ورحمة الله ثم قال: ألا أخبرك يا عبد الله بن جابر بخير سورة في القرآن؟ قلت: بلي يا رسول الله، قال: اقرأ{الحمد لله رب العلمين} حتى تختمها.
