The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Mother of the Quran is the seven oft-repeated verses and the Magnificent Quran."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أم القرآن هي السبع المثاني والقرآن العظيم.
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4704) from Adam, who said, Ibn Abu Dhib narrated to us, Saeed Maqburi narrated to us, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Tirmidhi narrated it (3124) through another route, from Abu Ali Hanafi, from Ibn Abu Dhib with his chain, and in it he said, "Al-Hamdu lillah is Umm Quran, and Umm al-Kitab, and the seven oft-repeated verses." And he said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."
