The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Narrate from the Children of Israil, and there is no harm in doing so."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: حدثوا عن بني إسرائيل ولا حرج.
Abu Dawud (3662) narrated it from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, who said, Ali bin Mushir told us, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related the hadith. Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama, for his hadith is hasan.Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (6254), narrating it through Sufyan, from Muhammad bin Amr, with the same chain, adding in it, "And relate from me, but do not lie about me."
