The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of people in doing good, and he was at his most generous during the month of Ramadan, because Jibreel would meet him every night in Ramadan until the month ended, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite the Quran to him. When Jibreel met him, he was more generous in goodness than the unleashed wind.
Bukhari narrated it in the Virtues of the Quran (4997) and Muslim in the Virtues (2308:50), both of them from the route of Ibrahim bin Saad, from Zuhri, from Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utba bin Masud, from Ibn Abbas, who related it.
