The Prophet ﷺ said, "I saw in a dream that I was drawing water from a well with a pulley bucket. Abu Bakr came and drew one or two buckets, but his pulling was weak, and may Allah forgive him. Then Umar bin Khattab came, and the bucket turned into a large one in his hands. I have never seen an extraordinary man working so brilliantly, until the people had drunk their fill and watered their camels at the resting place."
Bukhari narrated it in "The Virtues of the Companions of the Prophet" ﷺ (3682), and Muslim in "The Virtues of the Companions" (2393), both through Muhammad bin Bishr, who said, "Ubaydullah bin Umar narrated to us, Abu Bakr bin Salim narrated to me, from Salim bin Abdullah, from Abdullah bin Umar," and he related it. The wording given is that of Bukhari.
