Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Prophet ﷺ led us in the evening prayer toward the end of his life. After giving the salam, he stood and said, "Take note of this night of yours. At the end of one hundred years from now, no one who is currently on the face of the earth will remain alive."The people misunderstood the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ statement in what they used to relate from these reports about the hundred years. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only meant that no one who was alive on the earth that day would still be living, intending by this that that generation would pass away.

عن عبد الله بن عمر قال

صلى بنا النبي ﷺ العشاء في آخر حياته، فلما سلم قام فقال: أرأيتكم ليلتكم هذه، فإن على رأس مائة سنة منها لا يبقى ممن هو على ظهر الأرض أحد فوهل الناس في قالة رسول الله ﷺ تلك، فيما يتحدثون من هذه الأحاديث، عن مائة سنة، وإنما قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا يبقى ممن هو اليوم على ظهر مقالة الأرض أحد يريد بذلك أن ينخرم ذلك القرن.
