Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You were shown to me in a dream twice. A man was carrying you in a piece of silk cloth and saying, 'This is your wife, so uncover her.' When I uncovered her, it was you. So I said, 'If this is from Allah, He will bring it to pass.'"In another wording, "You were shown to me twice before I married you. I saw the angel carrying you in a piece of silk, and I said to him, 'Uncover her.' He uncovered her, and there you were. I said, 'If this is from Allah, He will bring it to pass.' Then you were shown to me again being carried in a piece of silk, and I said, 'Uncover her.' He uncovered her, and there you were. I said, 'If this is from Allah, He will bring it to pass.'"In a wording reported by Muslim, "You were shown to me in a dream on three nights. The angel brought you to me in a piece of silk and said, 'This is your wife.' So I uncovered your face, and there you were. I said, 'If this is from Allah, He will bring it to pass.'"

عن عائشة قالت

قال رسول الله ﷺ: أريتك في المنام مرتين، إذا رجل يحملك في سرقة حرير، فيقول: هذه امرأتك فاكشفها، فإذا هي أنت، فأقول: إن يكن هذا من عند الله يمضه. وفي لفظ: أريتك قبل أن أتزوجك مرتين، رأيت الملك يحملك في سرقة من حرير، فقلت له: اكشف، فكشف، فإذا هي أنت. فقلت: إن يكن هذا من عند الله يمضه، ثم أريتك يحملك في سرقة من حرير، فقلت: اكشف فكشف، فإذا هي أنت، فقلت: إن يكن هذا من عند الله يمضه. وفي لفظ لمسلم: أريتك في المنام ثلاث ليال، جاءني بك الملك في سرقة من حرير، فيقول: هذه امرأتك، فأكشف عن وجهك، فإذا أنت هي، فأقول: إن يكن هذا من عند الله يمضه.
