The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw in a dream that I was wearing a strong coat of armor, and I saw cattle being slaughtered. I interpreted the strong armor to mean Madinah, and the cattle to mean some of my companions being killed. And Allah is the source of all good."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: رأيت كأني في درع حصينة ورأيت بقرا منحرة، فأولت أن الدرع الحصينة المدينة، وأن البقر نفر، والله خير الحديث.
