The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you sees a dream that pleases him, let him relate it and have it interpreted. But when one of you sees a dream that distresses him, let him neither relate it nor have it interpreted."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إذا رأى أحدكم الرؤيا تعجبه فليذكرها، وليفسرها، وإذا رأى أحدكم الرؤيا تسووه فلا يذكرها، ولا يفسرها.

Ibn Abdul-Barr reported it in Tamhid (1/288) via Yahya bin Main, who said, "Yahya bin Salih narrated to us, from Sulayman bin Bilal, from Ala bin Abdul-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurairah," and he related it.Its chain is hasan on account of Yahya bin Salih, who is the Wuhazi, the Himsi, for he is a narrator whose hadith is hasan.
