The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagion, no evil omen, no hama, and no Safar. Flee from the leper as you would flee from a lion."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا هامة ولا صفر وفر من المجذوم كما تفر من الأسد.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Medicine (5707), saying, "Affan said, Salim bin Hayan told us, Saeed bin Mina told us, he said, I heard Abu Hurairah say," and he mentioned it.
