Ibn Abu Asim narrated it in Sunnah (290), and Tabarani in Kabir (8/216), both through routes from Amr bin Hashim Bayruti, who said, "Haytham bin Humayd told us, from Abu Mueed Hafs bin Ghaylan, from Qasim Abu Abdul-Rahman, from Abu Umama," and he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan, for each of Qasim Abu Abdul-Rahman, Haytham bin Humayd, and Amr bin Hashim Bayruti has hasan hadith.It has other routes as well, among them what Abu Bakr Ibn Abu Shayba narrated in his Musnad, as found in Matalib Aliyah (2488), and Tabari in the Musnad of Ali from Tahzib Athar (24), both through the route of Abu Usama, from Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir, who said, "Qasim told us, from Abu Umama," and he mentioned it.The men of this isnad are all trustworthy, but Abu Usama used to make mistakes regarding the name of his teacher. Musa bin Harun said, "Abu Usama narrated from Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir, but that was a mistake on his part. He never met Ibn Jabir, but rather met Ibn Tamim, and he assumed him to be Ibn Jabir. Ibn Jabir is trustworthy, while Ibn Tamim is daif." End of quote.
