The Prophet ﷺ was cupped, paid the cupper his wages, and used a nasal medication.
أن النبي ﷺ احتجم وأعطى الحجام أجره، واستعط.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Medicine (5691), and Muslim in the Book of Greetings (1202: 76), both from the hadith of Wahib, who said, we were told by Abdullah bin Tawus, from his father, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it. Both of them also related it through another route, adding, "and had he known it was disliked, he would not have given it to him," and this wording is Bukhari's (2279), while Muslim's wording (1202: 66) is, "and even if it had been magic, the Prophet ﷺ would not have given it to him."
