A daughter of mine fell ill, so I soaked some dates in a jug for her. The Prophet ﷺ came in while it was bubbling and asked, "What is this?"I said, "My daughter is ill, so we prepared this for her."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has not placed your cure in what is forbidden."
اشتكت ابنة لي، فنبذت لها في كوز، فدخل النبي ﷺ وهو يغلي فقال: ما هذا؟ فقلت: إن ابنتي اشتكت فنبذنا لها هذا فقال ﷺ: إن الله لم يجعل شفاءكم في حرام.

Reported by Abu Yaala (6966), and from him Ibn Hibban (1391), and Ahmad in al-Ashribah (159), both of them through the route of Jareer (that is, Ibn Abdul-Hameed), from Shaybani (that is, Abu Ishaq Sulayman), from Hassan bin Mikhraq, from Umm Salama, who narrated it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Hassan bin Mikhraq, for more than one narrator reported from him, and Ibn Hibban listed him among the trustworthy narrators. His hadith is hasan when it has a basis, and he does not bring forth anything that would be rejected.
