Some hot liquid spilled from a pot onto my hand, so my mother took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in a certain place. He spoke some words, among them, "Remove the harm, Lord of mankind." I think he also said, "Heal, for You are the Healer." He would lightly spit as he spoke.
انصبت على يدي من قدر، فذهبت بي أمي إلى رسول الله ﷺ وهو في مكان، قال: فقال كلاما فيه: أذهب الباس رب الناس وأحسبه قال: اشف أنت الشافي قال: كان يتفل.
Ahmad (15452) narrated it from Yahya bin Saeed, from Shubah, from Simak, who said, Muhammad bin Hatib said, and he mentioned it.Ibn Hibban (2976) also narrated it, by way of Nadr, from Shubah with the same chain, and in it, "So we came to him while he was in the courtyard, and I recall clearly that he said, 'Remove the harm, Lord of mankind,' and I am fairly certain he also said, 'You are the healer, there is no healer but You.'"Its isnad is hasan on account of Simak, who is Ibn Harb, and Shubah's hearing from him was early.
