He narrated that Maymunah said to him, "Nephew, shall I recite over you the ruqyah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"I said, "Yes, please."She said, "In the name of Allah, I recite over you, and Allah will cure you from every illness within you. Remove the harm, Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healer but You."
أنه حدثه أن ميمونة قالت له: يا ابن أخي ألا أرقيك برقية رسول الله ﷺ قلت: بلى قالت: بسم الله أرقيك، والله يشفيك من كل داء فيك، أذهب الباس، رب الناس، واشف أنت الشافي، لا شافي إلا أنت.
Ahmad (26821) and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (23/438) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (6095), all of them from the hadith of Muawiya bin Salih, from Azhar bin Saeed, from Abdul-Rahman bin Saaib, who related it.Its isnad is hasan on account of Abdul-Rahman bin Saaib, for a group of narrators reported from him, and Ibn Hibban deemed him trustworthy. Ibn Saad said, "He had few hadiths," but he did not declare him daif. This hadith has supporting corroborations. Likewise, the narrator from him, Azhar bin Saeed, is one whose hadith is hasan.
