Ayesha reported,

Whenever any of us fell ill, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would wipe the sick person with his right hand and say, "Remove the harm, Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness behind."When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself fell ill and his condition grew severe, I took his hand to do for him what he used to do for us, but he pulled his hand away from mine and said, "O Allah, forgive me and place me with the highest companions."She said, I looked at him, and he had already passed away.
