Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of incantations. The family of Amr bin Hazm came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, we used to have an incantation we would recite for scorpion stings, but you have forbidden incantations."They presented it to him, and he said, "I see no harm in it. Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, let him do so."
