Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shown the nations during the pilgrimage season, but his own nation was slow in appearing to him. He said, "Then my nation was shown to me, and their great number pleased me. They had filled the plain and the mountain. I was told, 'Among them are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning. They are those who do not seek to be cauterized, do not request incantations, do not believe in evil omens, and place their trust in their Lord.'"Ukashah said, "Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me one of them."So he prayed for him. Then another man stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me one of them."He replied, "Ukashah has beaten you to it."
