Uqba bin Amir reported,

A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, one of us commits a sin."He replied, "It is recorded against him."The man asked, "Then he seeks forgiveness for it and repents?"He answered, "He is forgiven and his repentance is accepted."The man asked, "Then he returns and sins again?"He replied, "It is recorded against him."The man asked, "Then he seeks forgiveness for it and repents?"He answered, "He is forgiven and his repentance is accepted. Allah does not tire until you tire."
