عن النبي ﷺ قال: يجيء يوم القيامة ناس من المسلمين بذنوب أمثال الجبال، فيغفرها الله لهم ويضعها على اليهود والنصارى فيما أحسب أنا. قال أبو روح: لا أدري ممن الشك،
Muslim narrated it in the book of repentance (2767:51), from Muhammad bin Amr bin Abbad bin Jabala bin Abu Rawwad, who said, Harmi bin Umara told us, Shaddad Abu Talha Rasibi told us, from Ghaylan bin Jareer, from Abu Burda, from his father Abu Musa Ashari, and he related it.Similar in meaning is what was reported from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "If you were to sin until your sins reached the sky, then repented, Allah would accept your repentance." Ibn Majah narrated it (4248) from Yaqub bin Humayd bin Kasib Madani, who said, Abu Muawiya told us, Jafar bin Barqan told us, from Yazid bin Asam, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Yaqub bin Humayd has some weakness when he narrates alone.
