The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Say, 'O Allah, guide me and make me steadfast.' When you ask for guidance, have in mind being guided along the road, and when you ask for steadfastness, have in mind the straight aim of an arrow."
قال لي رسول الله ﷺ قل اللهم اهدني وسددني، واذكر بالهدى: هدايتك الطريق، والسداد: سداد السهم.
