The Messenger of Allah ﷺ preferred concise, comprehensive supplications and would leave aside anything other than that.
كان رسول الله ﷺ يستحب الجوامع من الدعاء، ويدع ما سوى ذلك.
Narrated by Abu Dawud (1482), Ahmad (25151), and graded sahih by Ibn Hibban (867) and Hakim (1/539), all of them through various routes from Aswad bin Shayban, from Abu Nawfal bin Abu Aqrab, from Ayesha, who related it. Its isnad is sahih. Hakim said, "This is a hadith sahih in isnad."
