The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Talha, "Find us a young boy from among your servants to serve me."So Abu Talha took me out, riding behind him on his mount, and I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whenever he stopped to rest. I used to hear him frequently say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt, and from being overpowered by Some men." The hadith continues.
قال رسول الله ﷺ لأبي طلحة: التمس لنا غلاما من غلمانكم يخدمني فخرج بي أبو طلحة يردفني وراءه، فكنت أخدم رسول الله ﷺ كلما نزل، فكنت أسمعه يكثر أن يقول: اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن، والعجز والكسل، والبخل والجبن، وضلع الدين، وغلبة الرجال الحديث.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Supplications (6363) from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Ismail bin Jafar told us, from Amr bin Abu Amr, the freed slave of Muttalib bin Abdullah bin Hantab, that he heard Anas bin Malik narrate it as mentioned. Muslim also related it in the Book of Hajj (1365) through Qutayba and others, mentioning part of it, but the supplication mentioned above is not included in it.
