I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "On the back of every camel is a devil, so when you mount them, mention the name of Allah , then do not fall short in pursuing your needs."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: على ظهر كل بعير شيطان، فإذا ركبتوها فسموا الله عز وجل، ثم لا تقصروا عن حاجاتكم.
Ahmad (16039) narrated it, as did Nasai in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (504). Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih (2546), as did Ibn Hibban (1703) and Hakim (1/444), through routes from Usama bin Zayd (1703), who said, Muhammad bin Hamza bin Amr Aslami informed me that he heard his father say, and he mentioned it.Hakim said, "This is a sahih hadith according to the criteria of Muslim."I say, its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Hamza Aslami, who is not among the narrators of Muslim, but his hadith is graded hasan when it has a corroborating basis.
