Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to battle, he would say, "O Allah, You are my support and my helper. By You I maneuver, by You I charge, and by You I fight."
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا غزا قال: اللهم أنت عضدي ونصيري، بك أحول، وبك أصول، وبك أقاتل.
Reported by Abu Dawud (2632), Tirmidhi (3584), and Ahmad (2/12909), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (4761), through various routes from Muthanna bin Saeed, from Qatada, from Anas bin Malik, who narrated it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.Ibn Hajar also graded it sahih in his Amali al-Azkar, as Ibn Allan quoted from him in Futuhat Rabbaniya (5/60).
