Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar reported,

Abdullah bin Umar used to throw seven pebbles at the first jamrah, saying takbir after each pebble. He would then move forward onto level ground and stand facing the qiblah for a long time, supplicating and raising his hands.He would then throw pebbles at the middle jamrah in the same manner, then move to the left onto level ground, stand facing the qiblah for a long time, supplicate, and raise his hands.After that, he would throw pebbles at the jamrah of Aqabah from the bottom of the valley, without standing there afterward.He said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it."

عن سالم بن عبد الله

أن عبد الله بن عمر كان يرمي الجمرة الدنيا بسبع حصيات، ثم يكبر على إثر كل حصاة، ثم يتقدم فيسهل، فيقوم مستقبل القبلة قياما طويلا فيدعو ويرفع يديه ثم يرمي الجمرة الوسطى كذلك، فيأخذ ذات الشمال فيسهل ويقوم مستقبل القبلة قياما طويلا، فيدعو ويرفع يديه، ثم يرمي الجمرة ذات العقبة من بطن الوادي ولا يقف عندها، ويقول: هكذا رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يفعل.
