The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to the cemetery and said, "Peace be upon you, abode of a believing people. We will, Allah willing, be joining you."
أن رسول الله ﷺ خرج إلى المقبرة فقال: السلام عليكم دار قوم مؤمنين، وإنا إن شاء الله بكم لاحقون.
Malik narrated it in the Book of Purification (28), from Ala bin Abdul-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it at the beginning of a long hadith, which is recorded in full in the Book of Purification. Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Purification (249), from Malik, in like manner.
