The Prophet ﷺ used to frequently say in his bowing and prostration, "Glory be to You, O Allah our Lord, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me," interpreting the Quran by it.
كان النبي ﷺ يكثر أن يقول في ركوعه وسجوده: سبحانك اللهم ربنا وبحمدك، اللهم اغفر لي يتأول القرآن.
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4968), and Muslim in the prayer (484), both through the route of Jareer, from Mansur, from Abu Duha, from Masruq, from Ayesha, and she mentioned the hadith. Her saying, "he was interpreting the Quran," contains an allusion to the words of Allah Almighty, "When the help of Allah comes and the victory. And you see the people entering the religion of Allah in multitudes. Then glorify the praise of your Lord and seek His forgiveness, for He is ever accepting of repentance" [Surah Nasr 110:1–3].
