The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nothing is more honorable to Allah Almighty than supplication."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: ليس شيء أكرم على الله تعالى من الدعاء.
Tirmidhi (3370), Ibn Majah (3829), and Ahmad (7848) all narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (870) and Hakim (1/490) graded it sahih, all of them through various routes from Imran Qattan, from Qatada, from Saeed bin Abu Hasan, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Imran Qattan, who is Ibn Dawar Basri. He is disputed, but his hadith is hasan when he does not contradict others.Tirmidhi said, "A hasan gharib hadith." In another copy it reads, "A gharib hadith."Ibn Qattan said in Bayan Wahm wal-Ihyam (3/614), after quoting Tirmidhi's grading of it as hasan, "There is no point in the chain open to scrutiny except Imran bin Dawwar Qattan, and he is a man whose hadith is not problematic."Hakim said, "This is a hadith sahih in its chain."
