The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no group of people who gather in a sitting and then disperse without remembering Allah except that this sitting will be a source of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما من قوم اجتمعوا في مجلس، فتفرقوا ولم يذكروا الله إلا كان ذلك المجلس حسرة عليهم يوم القيامة.
Tabarani related it in Al-Awsat (3756), and Bayhaqi in Shuab (530), both by way of Muslim bin Ibrahim, who said, Shaddad bin Saeed Abu Talha Rasibi told us, Abu Wazi Jabir bin Amr told us, from Abdullah bin Mughafal, and he mentioned it.Abu Yaala related it, as found in Matalib Aliyah (3416), by way of Abu Mashar Yusuf bin Yazid Bara, from Shaddad bin Saeed, with the same wording.Tabarani said, "This hadith is not narrated from Abdullah bin Mughafal except by this chain, Shaddad bin Saeed narrated it alone."I say, its chain is hasan because of Shaddad bin Saeed and Jabir bin Amr, for both of them make the hadith hasan. However, Ahmad related it (7093) from Abu Saeed, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, who said, Shaddad Abu Talha Rasibi told us, I heard Abu Wazi Jabir bin Amr narrating from Abdullah bin Amr, who said, and he mentioned it.The more likely view is that it belongs to the musnad of Abdullah bin Mughafal , and Allah knows best.
