The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No group rises from a gathering in which they did not remember Allah without rising from something like the carcass of a donkey, and it will be a source of regret for them."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما من قوم يقومون من مجلس لا يذكرون الله فيه إلا قاموا عن مثل جيفة حمار، وكان لهم حسرة.
Reported by Abu Dawud (4855) - and this is his wording -, Ahmad (9052), Nasai in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (408), and Hakim (11/491-492), all of them through Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who related it. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Suhayl bin Abu Salih, for his hadith is hasan.
