Iyad bin Himar reported,
The Prophet ﷺ reported, narrating from his Lord 
, that He said, "I created My servants all upright and inclined to the truth, but the devils came to them and turned them away from their religion. They forbade them what I had made lawful for them, and commanded them to associate with Me that for which I had sent down no authority."

عن النبي ﷺ فيما يرويه عن ربه تبارك وتعالى أنه قال: خلقت عبادي حنفاء كلهم وإنهم أتتهم الشياطين فاجتالتهم عن دينهم، وحرمت عليهم ما أحللت لهم، وأمرتهم أن يشركوا بي ما لم أنزل به سلطانا.
