The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When it is the day of Jumuah, the angels sit at the doors of the mosque and record the people who come according to their ranks. One man brings forward a camel, another brings a cow, another brings a sheep, another brings a chicken, another brings a sparrow, and another brings an egg. When the muezzin gives the call and the imam sits on the pulpit, the scrolls are folded up, and the angels enter the mosque to listen to the remembrance."
عن رسول الله ﷺ، أنه قال: إذا كان يوم الجمعة قعدت الملائكة على أبواب المسجد، فيكتبون الناس من جاء من الناس على منازلهم، فرجل قدم جزورا، ورجل قدم بقرة، ورجل قدم شاة، ورجل قدم دجاجة، ورجل قدم عصفورا، ورجل قدم بيضة. قال: فإذا أذن المؤذن وجلس الإمام على المنبر، طويت الصحف، ودخلوا المسجد يستمعون الذكر.
Ahmad narrated it (11769), Yaqub told us, my father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said, Ala bin Abdul-Rahman told me, from his father, from Abu Saeed, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Ibn Ishaq, who explicitly stated that he heard it directly, and his hadith is hasan. Likewise, Ala bin Abdul-Rahman's hadith does not fall below the level of hasan.
