A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, tell me, if I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah, pray the five daily prayers, pay the zakat, and fast Ramadan and stand in prayer during its nights, among whom will I be counted?"He replied, "Among the truthful and the martyrs."
جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ، فقال: يا رسول الله، أرأيت إن شهدت لا إله إلا الله، وأنك رسول الله، وصليت الصلوات الخمس، وأديت الزكاة، وصمت رمضان وقمته، فممن أنا؟ قال: من الصديقين والشهداء.
Ibn Khuzayma (2212) and Ibn Hibban (3438) both narrated it from the hadith of Hakam bin Nafi, from Shuayb bin Abu Hamza, from Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Husayn, from Isa bin Talha, who said, "I heard Amr bin Mura Juhani," and he mentioned it. Bazzar also narrated it, Kashf Astar (25), from another route through Hakam bin Nafi. Haythami graded its isnad hasan, or graded it sahih. Majma al-Zawaid (1/46).
