Abu Hurairah and Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, bless the people of Medina in their city, bless them in their saa, and bless them in their mudd. O Allah, Ibrahim is Your servant and Your friend, and I am Your servant and Your messenger. Ibrahim asked You on behalf of the people of Mecca, and I ask You on behalf of the people of Medina the same as Ibrahim asked You for the people of Mecca, and the like of it along with it. Medina is encircled by angels. At every mountain pass there are two angels guarding it. Neither plague nor Dajjal shall enter it. Whoever intends harm against it, Allah will dissolve him as salt dissolves in water."

عن سعد بن أبي وقاص وأبي هريرة، قالا

قال رسول الله ﷺ: اللهم بارك لأهل المدينة في مدينتهم، وبارك لهم في صاعهم، وبارك لهم في مدهم، اللهم إن إبراهيم عبدك وخليلك، وإني عبدك ورسولك، وإن إبراهيم سألك لأهل مكة، وإني أسألك لأهل المدينة، كما سألك إبراهيم لأهل مكة، ومثله معه، إن المدينة مشبكة بالملائكة، على كل نقب منها ملكان يحرسانها، لا يدخلها الطاعون، ولا الدجال، من أرادها بسوء، أذابه الله كما يذوب الملح في الماء.
