The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I declare the area between the two lava fields of Madinah sacred. Its thorny trees are not to be cut, nor is its game to be hunted." He also said, "Madinah is better for them, if only they knew. No one leaves it out of dislike for it without Allah replacing him there with someone better, and no one endures its hardship and difficulty without my being an intercessor, or a witness, for him on the Day of Resurrection."
