The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one from my nation endures the hardship and severity of Madinah without my being an intercessor or a witness for them on the Day of Resurrection."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا يصبر على لأواء المدينة وشدتها أحد من أمتي إلا كنت له شفيعا يوم القيامة أو شهيدا.
Muslim narrated it in the Hajj chapter (1378:484) through various routes from Ismail bin Jafar, from Ala bin Abdul-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.
