The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution, then prayed on Saad's land at the base of the Harrah near the houses of Suqya. Then he said, "O Allah, Ibrahim was Your intimate friend, Your servant, and Your prophet, and he supplicated to You for the people of Makkah. I am Muhammad, Your servant, Your prophet, and Your messenger, and I supplicate to You for the people of Madinah with the same supplication Ibrahim made to You for the people of Makkah. We ask You to bless them in their saa, their mudd, and their fruits. O Allah, make Madinah beloved to us as You made Makkah beloved to us, and transfer whatever disease is in it to Khumm. O Allah, I have declared sacred what lies between its two lava fields, just as You declared the Sacred Precinct sacred upon the tongue of Ibrahim."
Ahmad (22630) narrated it, and Ibn Khuzayma (210) graded it sahih, both of them through the route of Uthman bin Umar, who said, Ibn Abu Dhib informed us, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abdullah bin Abu Qatada, from Abu Qatada, and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Haythami said in Majma, (3/304), "Ahmad narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."
