I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah."He replied, "You are the people of our countryside, and we are the people of your city."
أتيت رسول الله ﷺ فقلت: يا رسول الله. فقال: أنتم أهل بدونا، ونحن أهل حضركم.
Ahmad (16554) narrated it from Yahya bin Ghaylan, who said, Mufaddal bin Fadala narrated to us, who said, Yahya bin Ayub narrated to me, from Bukayr bin Abdullah, from Yazid, the freedman of Salama bin Akwa, from Salama bin Akwa, who said, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Yahya bin Ayub Ghafiqi Misri, for he is one whose hadith is hasan.
