The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said from the pulpit, "Ghifar, may Allah forgive them. Aslam, may Allah keep them in peace. And Usayyah has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال على المنبر: غفار غفر الله لها، وأسلم سالمها الله وعصية عصت الله ورسوله.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Virtues (3513), and Muslim in the Virtues of the Companions (2518), both through routes from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who mentioned it. The wording given here is Bukhari's, and Muslim's wording is similar.
