Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out during the illness in which he died, wrapped in a cloak, with a dark band tied around his head, until he sat on the pulpit. He praised Allah and glorified Him, then said,"To proceed. The people will increase in number while the Ansar will decrease, until they become among the people like salt in food. So whoever among you takes charge of any affair in which he can harm some people or benefit others, let him accept from those of them who do good and overlook the faults of those of them who do wrong."That was the last gathering in which the Prophet ﷺ sat.
