The Prophet ﷺ used to come to her and take his afternoon nap at her home, so she would spread out a leather mat for him to nap upon. He would sweat profusely, and she would collect his sweat and add it to her perfume and flasks.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Umm Sulaym, what is this?"She replied, "It is your sweat. I am mixing it into my perfume."
أن النبي ﷺ كان يأتيها فيقيل عندها، فتبسط له نطعا فيقيل عليه، وكان كثير العرق، فكانت تجمع عرقه فتجعله في الطيب والقوارير، فقال النبي ﷺ: يا أم سليم! ما هذا؟ قالت: عرقك أدوف به طيبي.
Muslim narrated it in al-Fadail (2332:85) from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, who said, Affan bin Muslim narrated to us, Wahib narrated to us, Ayub narrated to us, from Abu Qilaba, from Anas, from Umm Salim, and he related it.His saying, "adufu" means "I mix."
