Umar performed four takbirs over Zaynab bint Jahsh at her funeral prayer, then he sent word to the wives of the Prophet ﷺ asking, "Who will enter her grave to bury her?"They replied, "Those who used to visit her during her lifetime."Then Ali said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, 'The one among you with the longest hand will be the first to follow me.' So they would stretch out their hands to compare them. But what was meant was that she was skilled with her hands, giving in the cause of Allah."

Tahawi related it in Sharh Mushkil (209) from Ibrahim bin Marzuq, who said, "Wahb bin Jareer told us, Shubah told us, from Ismail, meaning Ibn Abu Khalid, from Shaybi, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abza," and he mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih.
