The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Many men have attained perfection, but among women none have attained it except Maryam bint Imran and Asiya the wife of Pharaoh. The superiority of Ayesha over other women is like the superiority of tharid over other foods."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: كمل من الرجال كثير، ولم يكمل من النساء إلا مريم بنت عمران، وآسية امرأة فرعون، وفضل عائشة على النساء كفضل الثريد على سائر الطعام.
Bukhari narrated it in the Virtues of the Companions (3769) and Muslim in the Virtues of the Companions (2431-37), both of them through the route of Shuba, from Amr bin Mura, from Murra, from Abu Musa Ashari, who said, then he mentioned it."Thareed" refers to bread that is crumbled and soaked in meat broth, and it may sometimes include the meat itself. What is meant by perfection here is the totality of qualities with which these two women were characterized, qualities that were not combined together in any other woman in the world.
