None of the Prophet's ﷺ companions narrated more hadith from him than I did, except for Abdullah bin Amr, for he used to write them down while I did not.
ما من أصحاب النبي ﷺ أحد أكثر حديثا عنه مني إلا ما كان من عبد الله بن عمرو، فإنه كان يكتب ولا أكتب.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Knowledge (113), from Ali bin Abdullah, who said, Sufyan narrated to us, who said, Amr narrated to us, who said, Wahb bin Munabbi informed me, from his brother, who said, I heard Abu Hurairah say, then he mentioned it.
