The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If faith were suspended at the Pleiades, Some men from among the descendants of Persia would still attain it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لو كان الإيمان معلقا بالثريا لناله رجال من أبناء فارس.
Reported by Abu Yaala (1438) — this is his wording — and Bazzar (3741), and Tabarani in al-Kabir (18/353), all of them through various paths from Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Ibn Najih (whose name was Abdullah al-Makki), from his father, from Qays bin Saad bin Ubada, who said, and then he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Haythami said in al-Majma (10/64–65), "Abu Yaala and Bazzar reported it, and the men in both of their chains are the men of the Sahih."
