The Messenger of Allah said, "Abu Sufyan bin Harith is the best of my family."
قال رسول الله: أبو سفيان بن الحارث خير أهلي.
Hakim narrated it (3/255) from Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Yaqub, who said, Ali bin Hasan Hilali told us, Amr bin Asim Kilabi told us, Hammad bin Salama told us, from Ammar bin Abu Ammar, from Abu Habba Badri, who said, then he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Amr bin Asim Kilabi, for he is one whose hadith is hasan. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criterion of Muslim, though the two of them did not narrate it."It has also been narrated from Urwa bin Zubayr, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The chief of the young men of paradise is Abu Sufyan bin Harith bin Abdul-Muttalib." He said, the barber shaved his head at Mina, and there was a wart on his head, so he cut it, and he died, so they consider him a martyr. Hakim narrated it (3/255) with his isnad as a mursal report.
